Friends of the Railroad

About the Friends of the Railroad:

The Friends of the Railroad, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization headquartered in Victor, NY.

Victor, NY is privileged to have been served by three distinctly different railroads: the Auburn Branch of the New York Central, the Buffalo Division of the Lehigh Valley Railroad and the Rochester & Eastern Rapid Railway.

Today, the Ontario Central, part of Finger Lakes Railway, continues to provide rail service to Victor and surrounding communities.

Here you will find information about the excursions

the Friends of the Railroad sponsors with Finger Lakes

Scenic Railway, remarkable railroad pictures and,

most important, reflections of the long history

of railroads and railways which pass through

this beautiful section of upstate New York.
